WFDP was honored to participate in the 6th African Youth SDGs Summit 2026, hosted by the Government of Ghana from 23–25 June 2026.
Representing H.E. Ambassador Ekramy El Zaghat, President of the World Fund for Development and Planning (WFDP), Mr. Abdiaziz Kasim Mohamud, Head of Programs of WFDP in the Federal Republic of Somalia, delivered a keynote address reaffirming WFDP’s commitment to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and supporting the African Union Agenda 2063.
During his address, he emphasized the importance of empowering Africa’s youth through education, innovation, leadership, entrepreneurship, and strategic partnerships, highlighting that sustainable development can only be achieved through inclusive collaboration among governments, international organizations, civil society, and young leaders.
WFDP remains committed to working with partners across Africa to empower communities, strengthen institutions, and contribute to building a more prosperous, peaceful, and resilient continent.
